Mar. 3 & 4 - Grange Motor Circuit - Apple Valley, CA ~ CW July 14 & 15 - Grange Motor Circuit - Apple Valley, CA ~ CC Aug. 4 & 5 - Willow Kart Track - Rosamond, CA ~ CC Oct. 13 & 14 - Willow Kart Track - Rosamond, CA ~ CW (CW = Clockwise ~ CC = Counter Clockwise) ASRA has a new fledgling home on the web (content will be forthcoming): http://groups.myspace.com/ASRAscooterracing Due to our agreement with CMRRA, ASRA races for the 2007 season will be governed by the 2007 CMRRA rules for a race meet (none of these should be out of the ordinary for those who have raced before, if you are planning on hitting the track for the first time please email jesse_dillon@hotmail.com). ASRA technical matters (such as classifications of machines, safety check/tech. and points) will, as always, be handled by ASRA: http://www.racecmrra.com/documents/07rules.pdf CMRRA has told ASRA members that it is an insurance requirement for them that all racers have a CMRRA license to race/practice on the track at their events. CMRRA race licenses are available from CMRRA, the cost $50 for the year, they can be purchased ahead of time or at the track the day of the first event you attend: http://www.racecmrra.com/documents/07RaceLicense.pdf The Grange track will be hosting the Saturday practices prior to our races at their track and will not require a CMRRA license, and will only charge $25 per person to practice all day. At Willow practice dates will require a CMRRA license and will be $40 per person. Sunday race entry fees will be $50 at either track and will require a CMRRA license. As always camping will be available overnight in the pits at the track on Saturday night. http://www.grangeracetrack.com DIRECTIONS TO GRANGE RACETRACK FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: Located just off the I-15 freeway in Apple Valley. Go North on Interstate 15 to the Bell Mountain/ Stoddard Wells Road exit (THIS IS THE SECOND STODDARD WELLS EXIT - DO NOT GET OFF WHERE MOTEL 6 AND PEGGY SUE'S IS) and turn left. - Go 4 miles to Dale Evans Parkway. Go straight, the road turns to dirt in a half mile. Go 2 miles further to Central Ave. and turn right. Just over the hill. DIRECTIONS TO WILLOW SPRINGS FROM LOS ANGELES / ORANGE COUNTY AREAS: Take I-5 North to Highway 14 North - past Palmdale and Lancaster, CA to Rosamond, CA. Take the Rosamond Blvd. exit in Rosamond, and go West approx. 6 miles on Rosamond Blvd. to the WSIR main track entrance at 3500 75th Street West. http://www.willowspringsraceway.com/home/home.asp DIRECTIONS FROM SAN DIEGO / RIVERSIDE / SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY AREAS: Take I-15 North or I-215 North to the Highway 138 (Wrightwood) exit - go West on 138 to Palmdale, CA. From Palmdale take the Highway 14 North to Rosamond, CA. Take the Rosamond Blvd. exit in Rosamond, and go West approx. 6 miles to the WSIR main track entrance at 3500 75th Street West.
