QUSTOM DAYTONA FRONT DAMPENERS, PAIR
The best dampening available anywhere for Lambretta forks. Specially revalved by Qustom, Inc. for optimum dampening on rebound and compression. Other dampeners like the Kawasaki and Sebac units work equally in both directions, which can give a very harsh ride, especially when turned up to their highest settings - they have even been known to bend the bolt-on type lower mounts on Li models. Qustoms Daytona units are set up to offer ideal rebound action for smoothing out all of the bumps, potholes and uneven pavement you might encounter. If you are looking for something to control braking dive, we suggest also fitting new progressively wound fork springs (#0823.B). They clear any Series 3 front mudguard with no problems (or any Series 1/2 mudguard for that matter), and full mounting instructions are provided. These are surely the most highly advanced front dampeners ever devised for Lambrettas. They are fully adjustable and rebuildable, and each one features a gorgeous aluminum body, a stainless steel shaft, a carbon steel internal variator valve, and aircraft quality heim joint mounting. Get a pair now for your pasta rocket; you wont be sorry! NOTES: These dampeners will fit any Italian style Lambretta forks on Li, SX, TV, GP/DL, or Serveta models. They will not fit the later Indian type forks from the late 1990s which had exposed springs. Nothing else is needed to fit these dampeners to any forks which were originally fitted with Italian style dampeners, such as SX200, TV175, TV200, and GP200 or DL200 forks. Late Serveta Jet200 models with the larger front dampeners will require that the dampener studs be cut off and replaced with 6mm studs. All other Italian type forks as originally fitted to 125cc and 150cc Series 1/2/3 machines will require extra mounting brackets. For these type of forks please see the list of recommended additional items below. |
